if I could change it...

Hello classmates, as you know this opportunity I will talk about some changes I would like to make in the career of chemistry and pharmacy. I have always believed that some freshman subjects are not very career related. When I was a freshman, I felt very unmotivated, I wanted to change because it was not what I expected. Besides, I never liked math or physics, and there were many of those subjects in freshman year, but in the end I made it. On the other hand, I think that the workload is sometimes too much and sometimes it is normal, but in online classes it has become much more complex. I feel that I spend all day on the computer, I really hope to return to the classroom as soon as possible. Being with your friends makes everything much better. As for the facilities of the faculty, I feel that we are lucky compared to other faculties of the University of Chile. Although if I had to change something it would be the library, since it is very small, and the computers since they are quite old. As for the teaching method, I think that in general it is good, most of the professors are good and make the students interested in the classes, and I think that the best thing of the career is the laboratories, they are very entertaining and it is where I learn the most

my personal opinion

hello classmates, on this occasion I will give my opinion about two topics: I strongly believe that abortion should be free, safe, gratuitous and legal for all women who wish to have one. Every woman is free to decide about her body, and no one can force an unwanted child on her. Children are respected and deserve parents who want to have them. Forcing a woman to have a child she does not want is bringing into the world a human being who will probably suffer all her life. Where will she go? will be given up for adoption? will end up in "sename"? and the pro-lifers? where are they after the baby is born? Besides, abortions happen every day at every moment in an unsafe way, thousands of women have died because of it, it is time to legalize it. We need to move forward culturally, leave behind the conservative morality of the Church and move forward as a society. The state is indebted to us. On the other hand, I think that some tattoo designs are very pretty, and that in certain places of the body they look beautiful (like on the forearm) but I would never get one because the fact of thinking that it will remain all my life on the body scares me a lot, because if I get bored of it I will not be able to remove it :(

I don't want to study!

Hello everyone! As you read in the title, the truth is that I don't want to do a postgraduate course after graduating from chemistry and pharmacy (and it's something I decided while in quarantine). The reason is simple: I feel that I have spent 21 years of my life just studying and I want to do something different. We are literally studying since we were kids (and I was obsessed with having good grades) and when you are still a teenager you have to decide what career you want to continue studying and so on until approximately 25 years old (sometimes more). And I don't want to spend more time of my life in that, I want to feel the freedom to say ''I have nothing to study for tomorrow'' and be able to live the day to day. What I really want to do is get my degree in pharmaceutical chemistry, work to get experience and go far away hahah. But to go far away first I want to learn English, I would enroll in an English school here in Chile and then perfect it abroad. When I have already traveled enough I will think about what to do, perhaps to have a house or to put a pharmacy or to have family or to have many dogs (that is the most probable thing), who knows hahah.

my future job

Hello classmates. This time I will talk about my future job. The truth is that if you ask me, my ideal job would be one where I would be my own boss, such as having my own pharmacy where I can achieve my own goals in terms of salary, work in an environment that suits me and also be able to decide when to take a vacation. Who knows if I will ever be able to reach that goal.
But being a little more realistic, when I graduate from chemistry and pharmacy I would like to work in a laboratory since it is what I like most about the university career, but from what I have been told the work of a pharmaceutical chemist in a laboratory is a little boring, but I will have to experience it to know what it is like. My other option is to work in a hospital, where I can interact more with the patient, which I find very interesting. As far as salary goes, I'd like it to be enough to live well and give the best to my future dogs :) The truth is that I am a little afraid to think about the future because I feel that I am still small hahah

The best holidays

Hello classmates. Today I will tell you about my best holidays: my study trip to Brazil. I went when I was in third grade of high school, the best and worst part of the trip: WE WENT BY BUS! We literally spent 3 days on the bus, but it was a lot of fun. Our study trip lasted 11 days, we visited the Iguazu Falls and Camboriu. During the bus trip we also visited Argentina and Paraguay.
I really have very good memories of that trip: during the morning we visited tourist places in the city, then we spent the whole afternoon on the beach (the sun burned me a lot), and when the night came we went to parties where there were other students who were also on their study trip. In all the hotels where we stayed there were buffets, so we really ate a lot (the food was very good). I consider those were my best vacations because I was literally in another country with my best friends, I have been to Brazil 3 times but I think being with my friends from school made it really special and the best!

Iceland: a friendly country

Welcome to my blog, on this occasion I will share with you one of my great dreams: to visit Iceland.

Capital city: Reykjavík
This country is an island located in Northern Europe, its population is only 360,000 people. Its climate is extremely cold, especially in winter. This Nordic country was founded by Vikings, who left a great cultural richness, some traditions are still maintained.

fact: it is the first country in the global peace index.

Reykjanes peninsula

There are many things I would like to do in Iceland, including feeling a connection with nature in its immense variety of landscapes: volcanoes, glaciers, waterfalls, lava caves and northern lights.

Vatnajökull National Park is one of the most beautiful parks in the world, where you can find the Vatnajökull glacier, which is so big that it occupies 8% of the island.

Vatnajökull

I would also like to go to Blue Lagoon, besides being beautiful, it contains thermal waters rich in minerals.

Blue Lagoon
And so hundreds of other places I could name. It would really be great to be able to spend time in this country to get to know its culture and nature.

good recommendations

Resultado de imagen para el tunel ernesto sabatoHello classmates, today I will talk about a very interesting topic ... my favorite book and movie.
I'm not really a good reader, or maybe I just haven't given myself the time to read a good book, I remember that at school I hated reading, since they literally forced you to do it, and read books like "the odyssey", "the iliada "," Don quixote of la mancha "was very boring for me :( I wanted to sleep as soon as I started reading them.
But there was a book that I liked too much and that it was not an obligation to read it ... "the tunnel" by Ernesto Sabato.
It is a book in which its protagonist tells readers the story of how he killed his wife and the reasons that made him commit that crime. It really is a very  book.
On the other hand, I am not very good at watching movies, but I love the series, so I will recommend one that you have to see if or if, especially if you are in the faculty of chemistry haha.
Resultado de imagen para breaking badThis series is called "breaking bad" that tells the story of a chemistry professor who gets cancer, and has no money to pay for his treatment or to leave his family when he dies, so he begins to synthesize methamphetamine with an ex student. It is a very good story :)
